Following a bumpy first half of the season, Tufts football has really hit its stride. After starting 2–2 on the season, Tufts has advanced 6–2 with a decisive win at Colby College on Saturday. They now head into a home matchup against 6–2 Middlebury College.
Tufts football made sure to avoid a repeat of their loss to Hamilton College last year at their Saturday game. The Jumbos jumped out to a 17–6 lead in the first half and held on for a 20–13 win over their NESCAC rival.
On the weekend of Sept. 27–29, men’s tennis came out with, according to senior Vuk Vuksanovic, the strongest start the team has seen in years during their performance in the three-day ITA Northeast Regionals tournament. Six of Tufts’ top tennis players participated in the singles draw, four teams of two participated in the doubles draw and four players participated in the B draw for singles.
