Women’s soccer eliminated in second round of NCAA tournament by William Smith College

Tufts women’s soccer traveled to William Smith College in Geneva, N.Y. last weekend to compete in the NCAA Division III women’s soccer tournament. In last year’s tournament, Tufts made it to the quarterfinals. On Saturday, they played Rowan University, who had a 13–2–2 record going into the game, in the first round of the tournament. Tufts’ record stood at 13–3–1 prior to the game.

Women’s soccer knocked out by Amherst 2–1 in NESCAC semifinals

On Saturday, No. 2 seed Tufts women’s soccer competed in the NESCAC semifinals versus No. 4 seed Amherst College in Middletown, Connecticut. The Jumbos earlier in the season had come away with a 2–1 win against the Mammoths. Going into the game, Tufts held a 13–2–1 record while Amherst held a 10–1–5 record.

Women’s soccer comes out on top in NESCAC quarterfinal versus Hamilton

The Tufts women’s soccer team stepped onto Bello Field on Saturday for their first game of the NESCAC playoffs, a quarterfinal matchup against No. 7 seed Hamilton College. The Jumbos were the No. 2 seed. Earlier in the season, the Jumbos played the Continentals to a 2–2 tie. Going into the game, Tufts held a 12–2–1 record while Hamilton held a 6–6–3 record.

Women’s soccer find success on senior day against Middlebury

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, the women’s soccer team(10–2–1) stepped onto Bello field to face No. 12 Middlebury (7–1–5) on Senior Day in their second-to-last NESCAC game of the season. After a pre-game recognition for theirfour seniors, the whistle blew and the Jumbos were off with high energy.

Tufts puts six goals on the board against Trinity

After four consecutive away games, the Tufts women’s soccer team came home to Bello Field last weekend to take on Trinity College in their sixth NESCAC game of the season. The Jumbos, coming off a 4–1 win versus the Endicott College Gulls, were on a high, but were still working hard to prepare for their game against the Bantams.

Women’s soccer falls to Wesleyan on the road

Tufts women’s soccer stepped onto Jackson Field in Connecticut last weekend ready to take on Wesleyan University in their fifth NESCAC game of the season. Tufts came into the weekend with a 4–1–1 record, but, after a 2–0 win against No. 7 nationally ranked Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Wednesday, they were feeling good about their upcoming games.
