In the mid-1990s, Andy Milk (A’97) was playing at Delta Upsilon with his student band Johnny Wishbone, writing album reviews and creating a website column for the Daily. Today, nearly 30 years later and following the diagnosis of a life-threatening heart condition, he is making his return to Medford on tour with his Long Island-based trio, Campsite.
On Dec. 13, 2024, Fease performed three original songs in the Daily’s newsroom. The band then joined Daily members for a conversation about the origins of their musical journey and their songwriting process.
Ross Jamie Collins and Na’Zir McFadden spent 8 ½ weeks in the intensive 2024 Tanglewood Music Center fellowship for conducting this past summer. On Nov. 29, they will both make their Symphony Hall debuts conducting the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners performed to a sold-out crowd at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on Oct. 27 as part of their October Moon tour. RMCM and their opening band, Atta Boy, had the flannel-clad sea of rock hipsters in the palm of their hand.
