Corrections

The quote, "I was just doing it for sh--s and giggles," which was printed in the Feb. 13 article "The Daily presents: speed dating at Tufts" was off the record and should not have been printed.

The Feb. 6 article "EPC proposal to restrict AP credits sparks debate" included a quote from a report by the university's Educational Policy Committee implying that the committee endorsed the view that "the university's present policies on advanced placement contribute to an uneven playing field for students from less privileged backgrounds." This was in fact a belief held only by some professors, and the committee did not endorse this view.

The Feb. 13 article "Freshman senators join together for weekly office hours in the campus center" incorrectly stated that the Tufts Community Union (TCU) Constitution requires each TCU senator to hold two hours of office hours per week. The actual requirement is one hour per week for each senator, with additional hours mandated for certain positions. Also, the Senate bylaws, not the TCU Constitution, set these requirements.
