Lawrence H. Summers will come to Tufts on Tuesday as part of the Tisch Distinguished Speaker Series.

TUESDAY

"Larry Summers: Tisch Distinguished Speaker Series"

Details: Lawrence H. Summers, the Charles W. Eliot University Professor at Harvard University and the President Emeritus of Harvard, will speak as part of the Tisch College distinguished speaker series. Summers, who was also the Treasury Secretary under former President Bill Clinton, will discuss international affairs and economic issues, focusing on the United States using its economic clout for foreign policy.

THURSDAY

"Sustainable Diets: Science, Guidance, and Politics"

Details: As a part of the Environmental Studies Program Lunch and Learn lecture series, Timothy Griffin, an associate professor at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, will speak about dietary guidelines and sustainability outcomes.

FRIDAY

"From Firing Line to the O'Reilly Factor"

Details: As a part of the kickoff for the Film and Media Studies Program, Heather Hendershot, professor of film and media at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will give the keynote lecture. Hendershot will speak about how media commentary has changed and how it can be fixed.

"What's Next in Cybersecurity Policy and Technology"

Details:Ely Kahn, the co-founder and vice president of business development at Sqrrl, will speak on the future of American cybersecurity policy. Kahn was also the former Director of Cybersecurity at the National Security Council from 2009 to 2010.
