DEVELOPING: Tracking COVID-19 at Tufts

The Medford/Somerville campus reported no new cases on Tuesday, the same as the day before.

Three COVID-19 cases were reported on the Medford/Somerville campus from April 14 to Tuesday.

The seven-day trailing average number of new cases on the Medford/Somerville campus was 0.43 on Tuesday, down from 0.86 the day before. 0.43 is the lowest recorded average case per day metric since the Daily began tracking COVID-19 cases on Tufts’ campuses in mid-January.

There were 23 individuals in isolation on the Medford/Somerville campus on Tuesday, down from 25 the day before.

Five hundred and fifteen COVID-19 cases have been reported on the Medford/Somerville campus since Aug. 3, 2020, consisting of students, faculty, staff and affiliates.

According to the New York Times, 30% of all residents of Middlesex County are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
