“COVID-19 poses extreme challenges for international travel. Thus, it’s been a year since I last went back home. As winter break approached, I couldn’t imagine being alone in Boston, especially during the holiday season. So I went on a solo trip and indulged myself with splendid views of the South and West Coasts. I took these photos while sitting by the Freeport beach in Texas and some others while watching the sunset on the highest overlook in San Francisco. These views brought me enormous tranquility, and I couldn’t resist the urge to capture them at the moment. I hope to share these stunning scenes with you and that they bring about the same power for you as they did for me.” (Mengqi Irina Wang / The Tufts Daily)
