Tuftonia’s Day 2015: Start celebrating Spring Fling weekend at Tufts Freshman Class Council’s Tuftonia’s Day. There will be free food, carnival rides, artist booths and lots of fun activities. (Friday at 5 p.m. on Fletcher Field. Admission is free. No tickets required.)

Spring Fling 2015 Ft. Kesha, Misterwives and Lauren Lane: The biggest Tufts concert of the year is here, and it’s going to be a glitter extravaganza. Tufts University Concert Board is bringing Kesha, Misterwives and Lauren Lane to the Prez Lawn for Spring Fling. Tufts Battle of the Bands 2015 winner, Rollersnakes, will open the show. (President’s Lawn at noon on Saturday. Doors open at 12 p.m. and close at 3:30 p.m. Valid Tufts ID required for entry. Tickets are on sale online and in the info booth in the campus center. Tickets are free to Tufts undergrads. Tufts students can buy guest tickets for $30 each. Guests must be 18+.)

New at Noon: Resilient Ruminations -- Ants in the Kitchen: Tufts Composers celebrate spring with a fun mix of compositions. According to the event page, the show will feature works by “Eli Boninger, Cagdas Donmezer, Allie McIntosh, John McDonald, Ryan O’Connell, Jeffery Shivers, Lincoln Gray and Megan McCormick as performed by Elizabeth Reian Bennett, Emmanuel Feldman, Yoko Hagino, Kristofer Siy and Philipp Stäudlin.” (Friday at noon in Distler Performance Hall. Admission is free. No tickets required.)

It’s All Child’s Play: Tufts Opera presents a unique melange of two one-act operas: Ned Rorem’s "Three Sisters who are not Sisters" (1968) and Franz von Suppé’s "The Finishing School" (1978). Carol Mastrodomenico serves as stage director and Thomas Stumpf serves as music director for the performance. (Tonight and Friday at 8 p.m. in Distler Performance Hall. Admission is free. No tickets required.)

Choreographers’ Showcase: The Tufts University Department of Drama and Dance presents the Spring 2015 Choreographers’ Showcase. Members of the Studies in Dance Composition Workshop will perform their original dances for the spring showcase, under the direction of Daniel McCusker. (Sunday at 7 p.m. in Jackson Gym Dance Lab. Admission is free. No tickets required.)
