Battle of the Bands 2015: Come see the contest whose winner will play as an opener at Spring Fling! The bands competing are GGGGHOSTS, Maevey, Rollersnakes, Wakana and Shark Saddle. (Friday at 9:00 p.m. in Hotung Cafe. Admission is free. No tickets required.)

Major: Undecided Presents: France France Revolution: Major: Undecided will be performing its last show of the year (maybe) about the French Revolution and its connections to dance video games. BU’s Slow Children at Play will open for Majors. (Friday at 10 p.m. in Cabot Auditorium. Admission is free. No tickets required.)

SALAAM Presents: Penn Masala: South Asian Literary, Arts and Music Magazine presents Penn Masala, the world’s first a cappella group who formed at UPenn in 1996 and have produced eight records to date. Penn Masala’s music combines musical influences from both Eastern and Western cultures for a unique blend of songs. (Doors open at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday in Goddard Chapel. There is limited seating, so seats are given on a first-come first-served basis. The show starts at 9:15 p.m. Admission is free with a strongly suggested donation of $5. No tickets required.)

Tufts NME: Walking on Water: Tufts New Music Ensemble performs a concert under the direction of Donald Berman. (Tonight at 8 p.m., Granoff Music Center. Admission is free. No tickets required.)

createDATE: Maker Night -- 3D Printing Workshop: The Tufts Art Gallery Student Advocacy Council is holding a createDate on 3D printing. Come learn how to turn your ideas into real creations using 3D printing techniques! No experience necessary. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptops.
