TASA Culture Show 2015: Stumped!: The Tufts Association of South Asians is holding its annual culture show, featuring a variety of acts to watch and plenty of samosas for snacking. T-shirts and after-party tickets will be sold today in the Campus Center from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. T-shirts are priced at $10 and after-party tickets are priced at $12, with a deal of both for $20. Proceeds from sales will go to Shanti Life. (Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Cohen Auditorium. Tickets are free with a Tufts ID, limit two per person, $10 for each additional ticket. Tufts Comedy Blastoff 2015: The Tufts Stand Up Comedy Collective presents its spring show. Come watch Tufts comedians perform their newest and best stand-up routines. Several performers in the show have been performing at comedy clubs in New York and Boston, so the content is going to be top quality. Hosted by senior Brad Frizzell and senior Matt Braly, performances by Aidan Sears, Brennan Corriston, Christina Lee, Dan Kamlarz, Emily Baker, Evan Starr, Isha Patnaik, Jamie Juviler Jared Bronen, John Merfeld, Laura Donovan, Lillianna Levonick, Lily Blumkin, Luke Makana Hanley, Max Cohen, Sam Gordon, Temi Sahlabim Owoyemii and Thomas Rind. (Friday at 9:45 p.m. in Distler Performance Hall. Admission is free. No tickets or reserved seats.)

Tufts Hillel Presents: The Matzah Ball!:Join Tufts Hillel in dancing the night away at the Somerville Armory. Get dressed up and enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and a Matzah Ball bonanza at Hillel’s annual semi-formal. The first bust will leave from the lower Campus Center at 7:45 p.m. and will be followed by two additional buses, with pick-up times dependent on traffic and road conditions. Any ticket can get a student onto any bus, but the buses fill up quickly so it is suggested that students take earlier buses. (Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Somerville Armory. Tickets are on sale in the Campus Center are on tuftstickets.com for $5 each. Each student can buy up to two tickets, and can invite guests who may or may not be Tufts students.)

Tufts Film Series Oscars Viewing Party: Come to the Campus Center on Sunday to join the Tufts Film Series in watching the Oscars. Popcorn will be available for snacking, and students can walk a red carpet and make Oscars predictions. The Tufts Film Series will also be playing two of the movies nominated for Best Picture earlier in the weekend (see event below.) (Sunday at 7:00 pm in Mayer Campus Center Lounge. Admission is free. No tickets required.)

Tufts Film Series: Boyhood and The Theory of Everything: Join the Tufts Film Series and watch two of the movies nominated for Best Picture for the 2015 Oscars. “Boyhood” (2014) will be screened Friday and Saturday at 9:30 p.m. and Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and “The Theory of Everything” will be screened Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. (Friday and Saturday at various times in Barnum 008. Admission is free. No tickets required.)
