Looking to make your weekend artsy? Check out these events!

Tufts Arts Career Night: Interested in a career in the arts? Join the Tufts Art History Society for a presentation with an informational discussion panel. Professionals in the arts world who live in Boston will discuss their work, offer advice and answer student questions. Presenters set to speak include: Karin Goodfellow (Director, Boston Art Commission), Wing Ngan (Ink Design), Matthew Siegal (Chair, Conservation and Collections Management, MFA) and Leah Triplett (Editor, Big Red & Shiny). Refreshments will be served. (Tonight beginning at 6 p.m. in the Alumnae Lounge. Admission is free.)

Tufts Orchestra Fall Concert: The Tufts University Symphony Orchestra and the Tufts Chamber Orchestra will be performing a joint concert to celebrate the fall season. Pieces performed will include both modern and classical selections: John Adams, Mozart and Tchaikovsky, along with the world premiere of “Glass Branches” by Will Myers. (Saturday at 8 p.m. in Distler Performance Hall. Admission is free.)

3Ps Fall Major presents "The Children’s Hour"(1934): The 3Ps present their fall show, a play titled “The Children’s Hour.” The play focuses on a small Virginia town in 1934 and the events that spiral out of control after a young girl tells lies about her teacher. (Performances will occur on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. in Balch Arena Theater. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in the Aidekman Box Office or by calling 617-627-3493.

Sunday at Tufts Community Concert Series: Eat! Drink! Sing! Tufts Concert Choir and Tufts Chambers Singers will be performing their fall concert with selections by Britten, Handel and Muehleisen. Jamie Kirsch will be conducting the concert. (Sunday at 3 p.m. in Distler Performance Hall. Admission is free. No tickets required.)
