Sunday at Tufts Community Concert Series -- Celebrating Frank!: Come celebrate pianist Frank Glazer’s 100th birthday as he and performance faculty violist Scott Woolweaver lead this week’s performance concert featuring selected pieces by Beethoven, Hindemith, Clarke and Vaughan Williams. (Sunday at 3 p.m. in Distler Performance Hall, Granoff Music Center. Admission is free.)

Create Date: Join other artistic students in this week’s create date. Make crafts at the Tufts Art Gallery for free! (Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Tufts Art Gallery. Admission is free.)

An Evening with Esperanza Spalding: Thank you October! Berklee grad and celebrated bassist, vocalist and composer Esperanza Spalding returns to Berklee for a special performance as part of a two week tour to celebrate her “birthday month.” Along with longtime collaborators Leo Genovese and Lyndon Rochelle, Spalding will perform songs from her various releases including “Junjo” (2006), “Esperanza” (2008) and “Chamber Music Society” (2010). (Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Berklee Performance Center. Tickets are $36 and are available online.)

Radio 92.9 WBOS Presents Lykke Li: The moody and powerful Swedish songstress will be performing songs from her new moving album “I Never Learn” (2014). Featuring Mapei as the opening artist. (Friday at 7 p.m. at House of Blues. Tickets start at $37.25 and are available online.)
