In Photos: Tufts Cupid Challenge

Valentine’s Day came early to Tufts with the Cupid Challenge on Friday and Saturday. Tufts hosted the indoor track and field meet in the Gantcher Center.

Tufts’ first-year Arielle Chechile placed second in the indoor pentathlon on Friday. On Saturday, sophomore Lexi King won in high jump, senior Sarah Firth won in pole vault, senior Jordan Andrew placed first in long jump and second in triple jump, first-year Elysse Cumberland placed first in triple jump and second in long jump, first-year Mia Kurtz took third in shot put and sophomore Jackie Wells got second in the weight throw.

On the track, podium finishes for the Jumbos included third for sophomore Simisola Lawal in the 60-meter, second for first-year Cameron Stanton in the 60-meter hurdles, third for first-year Makayla Moriarty in the 200-meter and 400-meter, second for senior Annika Kral in the 400-meter, third for sophomore Kaya West in the 100-meter and third for junior Lexi Dean in the mile.
