The annual Tufts Ballroom Competition brought collegiate teams and amateur ballroom dancers to the Joyce Cummings Center for a full Saturday of dancing. The Tufts Ballroom Team, the competition host, sent several pairs to the finals. Competition Coordinator Alejandro Forero Rey and Junior Competition Coordinator Eli Newman organized the event.
At the newcomer level, Tufts first-years Sarah Garrett and Olive Ephross placed third in the cha cha and sixth in both waltz and rumba. First-years Rachel Nelson and Jaiden Zhuang placed fourth in swing and sixth in jive. At the bronze level, sophomores Anna Bonitatibus and Della Noon placed fifth in swing. At the silver level, senior Cassie Colmenares and junior Sophia Carney placed fifth in both rhythm and samba.

Editor's note: The article has been updated with the names of the competition coordinators. Additionally, Anna Bonitatibus and Della Noon placed fifth in swing, not foxtrot.
