Thispastweekend,somefriends and IventuredintotheCityThatNeverSleepstogetalittle pieceofthe actiononthislongweekend.We’vefoundthatalongwithincrediblebutpricey food,themostfantastic peoplewatchinginthecountryandjawdroppinglyfashionable streetwear, thecity’stendencytomakeyou walkcloseto10,000stepsadayisanother phenomenonyou’resuretoexperience.Myadvice: weargood shoes!

WewenttoCentralParkandsatunderthecherryblossomtrees,thenhoppedonthesubway andwentto GreenwichVillageforsomebubbletea.WewalkedtotheBrooklynBridge,did someshoppinginSoHo.The beautifulthingaboutNewYorkisthatthere’strulynever somethingyoucan’t do,andthere’salways somethingto do. 

InoticedthattheAmericancultureofNewYorkshowsallthebestofourdiversity.It’sdifficultto pinpoint exactlywhatthecultureisbecauseit’severything,andthatintersectionmakesita wonderfulplaceto immerseyourself.

IrecommendhittingSoHoforsomeshopping,makingyourwaytoBrooklynforthriftingand doingsome touristyactivitiesinMidTownnearTimesSquare.

Obviously,Bostonisalsobeautiful.Thatgoesforjustaboutanycity.Butthere’saspecialmagic aboutNew York,andifyoueverfindyourselfwithalongweekendandthewill — thenthere'saway!
