Since 1973, only Michael Jordan has ever recorded a number over 31, which he did on four occasions. With a strong final month, James has a shot at surpassing MJ's record-setting PER of 31.89.

On Tuesday, March 17, the New Jersey Devils defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 for their eighth win in nine games. More importantly, though, the win marked the biggest milestone in the career of Devil's long-time starting goaltender Martin Brodeur: career win number 552. With the win, Brodeur became the winingest NHL goaltender of all time, surpassing hall-of-famer Patrick Roy's previous high mark.
