Romantic tale of Scottish town a theatrical treasure

Forget Broadway in Boston. If you haven't seen a musical theater production at the Boston Conservatory, believe me, you are missing out. The school, which specializes in the education of students in musical theater and music, is one of Boston's treasures. Every season it puts together a top-notch show. This past weekend, the school presented Lerner and Loewe's much beloved but often forgotten musical, Brigadoon. The show was dedicated to their President Emeritus William Seymour, who had been asking the school to do his favorite musical for years. Without a doubt, the Conservatory's outstanding production of Brigadoon has made President Seymour very proud.
